The sermon explores the psychological and spiritual impact of rejection versus acceptance, using the narrative of Esau and Jacob in Genesis 25 to illustrate how childhood dynamics and favoritism can shape a person's self-image and lead to the despising of one's spiritual birthright. It argues that while the world offers counterfeit acceptance through social validation and comparison, true acceptance is found exclusively in God, who views every individual as fearfully and wonderfully made. The message addresses the modern epidemic of insecurity and mental health struggles among youth, attributing these issues to strongholds formed by past trauma and the lies of the enemy. It calls for a transformation of the mind through the recognition of faulty perspectives, the forgiveness of childhood wounds, and the active renunciation of Satan's lies in favor of God's truth. Ultimately, the sermon emphasizes that salvation by grace provides a secure identity in Christ, freeing believers from the need for worldly approval and enabling them to live in the fullness of their divine value.

The Prayer that Rocks the World
He sees something about Planet Earth that most people didn't see and most people TODAY don't see… that is the Kingdom of God. What he saw… if YOU see it… you'll begin using new metrics or criteria to evaluate the health of this planet and "all who dwell in it" (Psa 24). WE tend to see economic indicators or GDP (productivity) or the amount of freedoms or health/disease stats as the key markers. Nehemiah sees something else. Let's meet this unsung hero with whom we hope to spend the next eight weeks, Nehemiah. This opening episode is composed of three parts or movements: 1) Bad News from the Headquarters 2) Better Days and Memories of the Future 3) Moved/ to Mission

What We Owe One Another
What does a healthy church owe one another? In Ephesians 4:25–32, Paul shows that putting off the old man and living in the new means allowing Christ to reshape how we speak, handle anger, use our resources, treat others, and forgive within the body of Christ. In What We Owe One Another, the church is reminded that these commands are not an arbitrary list of rules—they are rooted in God's character, given for His glory and for our good. Believers owe one another honesty, properly governed emotions, generosity, edifying speech, kindness, tenderheartedness, and forgiveness as each member helps preserve the health, beauty, unity, and usefulness of the body of Christ.
