We are your hosts Kassandra Zumba and Yaa Kwakye. We are Policy, Systems, and Environmental Coordinators at the Chicago Partnership for Health Promotion, a program from the Office of Community Engagement and Neighborhood Health Partnerships at UIC.
The podcast aims to provide education, resources, and healthy habits in Chicago. This podcast is aimed at leaders who would like to improve their working environment and the health of their employees, by creating healthier habits within their community.

Welcome to Healthier Habits
Special guest Dr. Daylan D. Dufelmeier, Director of Chicago Partnership for Health Promotion.
Dr. Dufelmeier has been part of the Chicago Partnership for Health Promotion for the last 16 years. He started as a nutrition peer educator, then as program coordinator and assistant director, and is currently the director of CPHP. At CPHP, he oversees the implementation of the federal nutrition program and staff. He recently earned his Ph.D. in the UIC Community Health Sciences Division, with a focus on institutional behavior and health equity.
Dr. Dufelmeier will discuss the importance of sustainable health habits and the impact of community health initiatives, offering valuable insights that align with our mission. This podcast is a fantastic opportunity to further our reach and engage with our community on a deeper level.
