   Overcoming toxic relationships

This week we venture off the normal path and we look at relationships. We have been in unprecedented times, spending more time with those we are closest to; than in any other history of our existence. With us we may have developed an unknown toxic relationship. One that started as a truly loving relationship but now is challenged. Let's explore exactly what the signs of a toxic relationship are. The difference between an abusive relationship and a toxic relationship. How we can go about understanding the impacts of a toxic relationship. And finally the steps we can take to remedy the situation and bring our relationships back into a healthy status. This is a sensitive subject but it is an important one we must look deep within and be willing to take ownership of our own behavior. Knowing when we need help and seeking that help is critical. So please follow along as I share how to take your toxic relationship and turn it back into a non-toxic loving relationship that it once was. I Acknowledge it may be hard to listen to; it's hard to write. Whether it's a sibling, a parent, child, a partner, or spouse none of us want to admit that our relationship has gone to a toxic level. However, it is that exact acknowledgment that will begin the healing process. As a non-toxic coach this is a subject I don't often explore. But as we move into colder months we acknowledge that we will be spending more and more time together it is imperative that we address it now. I am not a doctor or a psychologist I am a coach who can identify toxins both physical and mental. I hope that bringing light to this subject helps us all move into healthier self-care relationships; as well as all of our relationships being healthier. My goal is to bring light to the situation and help those who may be in need. I can be a trusted resource to get you the help you need if it's finding a therapist or a crisis hotline. Please reach out to me if you should need either of these resources. I can be reached at www.nontoxiclifestyle.com in simply click book a consultation, additionally you can certainly call me at 614-395-4474 or email me at rachelle.jackson31@gmail.com I encourage you to take a look within to find your own self care and to begin rebuilding non-toxic relationships. I encourage your feedback and would love to hear what you think.

    Trust your gut!

This episode what happens when we don't trust our gut. Join me as a discuss medical journey the nearly cost me my life and leg because I didn't trust my gut. I listened to doctors, urgent care providers, add more doctors. Truth is had I just stood up for myself and insisted I knew my body and there was something wrong the outcome would've been different. This made me start thinking about our skin being a largest organ. Naturally Think the heart the lungs or the brain are the largest organ. But it's the skin! It absorbs everything it comes in contact with, the air around us, the residue on a plate, whatever's on the toilet seat, whatever our clothing is made of. When you start to think about that it becomes a little bit more important to read labels into know that what you were using to clean, launder your clothes, or even wash your dishes contains. Join me in this episode is explain a little bit more and read some labels from every day products you have in your home. Be prepared as you may not know what exactly you're subjecting yourself too. Carcinogens, endocrine disruptors, reproductive disruptors and even worse. Listen to my story and then listen to my caution and you'll understand why we now live in nontoxic lifestyle. What caused me to join the non toxic movement? A Personal Journey!

Greetings, Please join me in my journey of a real and raw story of what brought me to my knees and caused me to start my non toxic journey. This is a true unadulterated story that is a bit lengthy but worth the listen. It chronicles my health journey for just a short period of time and one or two of the most traumatic events that I have ever encountered. Now it shouldn't have taken traumatic events to cause me to take the non toxic journey step but I was naive. I was very sick ( terminal as it turns out) and spent nearly every other week on antibiotics or with burst eardrums or some sort of investigative surgery. I was determined that something in my environment was making me sick. I went to the top janitorial stores and bought only the strongest hospital grade cleaners. I spent hours upon hours a day cleaning every crevice of my home. I thought I was doing the right thing. However, during this time my children and husband were also more sick and violently sick than normal. The answer as to what was causing our illnesses might shock or even stun you. Listen along to find out what and why we were so sick. I will continue to share personal journeys and invite you to do the same. I encourage you to leave me a 5 star rating so that we can continue to embark on this knowledge journey of just what a non toxic lifestyle is, how to achieve it and save money in doing so! Please note that this journey was traumatic to go through and may not be pleasant to hear but it is critical in understanding just why I made the change. I hope no one ever has to endure this type of trauma so please listen with an open mind and heart and know that today my family and myself are stronger, healthier and happier than we have ever been in years prior. I promise not all of the podcasts will be this long! This took some time and emotion to get through. Please feel free to comment, leave questions or private message me. I want nothing more than to be a guide, coach and assistant to you in your journey and feedback is a gift, no matter what form it comes in. Happy Listening, Rachelle M Jackson Wellness and Non Toxic Lifestyle Coach www.nontoxiclifestyle.com (free consultations always available)
