Doin’ Tropes (Re-Upload)
(REUPLOAD: this was our first episode back at the beginning of October, but once it was published, the audio got tangled up with a different episode, so we decided to reupload it so that way it’s available for all to enjoy) Boy, oh boy is it good to be back! Welcome back to the Hear Me Out: Podcast! I've been wanting to bring the pod back for so long, and what better time for a horror movie lover than the month of October! Featuring a brand new Theme by Braylen Williams, The pod is back and just as good as ever. On this episode, Stephi and I discuss horror movie tropes, whats overused, whats over-rated, and what's just purely classic. So let's all go on this vaguely descriptive road trip, break down on the side of the road with no cell service, and split up to cover more ground on this episode of Hear Me Out:

Something old, something new
Hello all! As many of you who follow me on Twitter know, Stephi & I recently moved into our apartment, & therefore were unable to get a podcast out this past weekend. So you’re getting two this week! Originally, this podcast was planned to be an “Old Horror movies vs. New horror movies” debate, but the further we got into it, the more we realized we can’t put these spooky efforts against each other. The conversation soon turned into that of one about the evolution of the genre, & how the old has inspired the new so much, and helped its growth. This is truly one of my favorite episodes we’ve ever done, so everyone enjoy this episode of Hear Me Out: Old & New horror!

Yeah, but what KIND of scary movie?

Having trouble deciding what kind of scary movie you want to watch every night for the month of October? Have no fear! (well, have some.) This week Stephi and I help you out, by going in depth on the different subgenres within horror. Through describing and giving examples of each, we run down some of the most legendary movie styles, and the history that each brings. So whether it's a slasher, cannibal, ghost, or a good old fashioned classic, put on a scary movie right after you listen to this weeks episode of Hear Me Out:
