   Australian Bushfire Compassion Meditation

This is a beautiful compassion-focused meditation that I have created just for Australia and the devastation the bushfires have caused. When the Australian bushfires hit, I experienced a huge range of emotions seeing the images, news stories and statistics.I had often felt helpless and felt confused as to what to do.Then I remembered a beautiful Buddhist compassion meditation I had learnt and I immediately knew how I could create something to contribute in some way to alleviating our collecting distress and overwhelm.I have created and recorded this meditation specifically to cultivate compassion and loving-kindness towards all of the people, animals, environment, businesses, service people and communities that have been affected by the fires. If you're like me and sometimes feel unsure what to do, but want to do something, this meditation is a perfect practice for you; Use it anytime you would like to be thoughtful, compassionate and hold Australia in your mind and your heart. You can use this as a one-off, a daily practice, or play the recording in group settings with your family, friends, school, university, workplace or community group - I'm totally happy for you to share the love!Let me know how you go!~~~To keep in touch and learn more about mindfulness, emotional wellness and living a life of courage, authenticity and self-love. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/gabriella.de.mori/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/gabriellademoricounselling/ Website: www.gabriellademori.com Mindfully,GabriellaRegistered Counsellor & Meditation Coachwww.gabriellademori.com~~#selfcompassion #kristinneff #compassion #compassionmeditation #bushfires #australianbushfires #bushfire#selfcompassion #compassion #lovingkindness #lovemeditation

   Drop the Anchor Meditation

This meditation is GOLD! It can be used at any time that you need to take a step away from the chaos of the day and ground yourself. You'll find your centre within the storm of our lives and bring yourself back into a state of calmness. Using visualisation of a boat and the sea, this practice shows us how our breath can be our anchor at any time we choose to use it. Always remember to take ten minutes to anchor yourself so that you can attack your day from a calmer and more productive place within yourself. When you're overwhelmed, feeling frantic, lost, or stressed, this is the meditation for you.✨ If you love this meditation, you'll especially love...✨This calming meditation is just one practice of a 'Settle and Sleep Meditation Collection' that is uniquely designed to calm your nervous system, practice letting go of, and surrendering to the stress of life, and ensuring you get a good night's sleep, every night. If you're going through a period of stress, find it hard to settle and have a busy mind, you will greatly benefit from this collection. Even though we often can't change or stop the stress happening in our life, we can support our nervous system to settle and be open to shifting our thoughts and attitudes towards our stress so that we can support ourselves as much as possible. A good night's sleep always sets you up for a better day too and I promise that you'll be fast asleep before you make it to the end of the sleep meditation in this collection.Explore the 'Settle and Sleep Meditation Collection' here or here: https://courses.gabriellademori.com/acceptance-and-surrender-collection~~~To keep in touch and learn more about mindfulness, emotional wellness and living a life of courage, authenticity and self-love. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/gabriella.de.mori/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/gabriellademoricounselling/ Website: www.gabriellademori.com Mindfully,GabriellaRegistered Counsellor & Meditation Coachwww.gabriellademori.com

    Diaphragmatic Breathing Meditation

Diaphragmatic breathing creates that deep sedative effect we all crave through meditation, yet it is rarely correctly taught. If you have tried meditation before yet can't seem to relax, it's likely because you're not engaging proper diaphragmatic breathing which I believe is the most important aspect of meditation to master so that you can feel the relaxation you crave. Usually, as we rush through life, our breath becomes short, sharp and very restricted. We rarely take in the necessary breaths to oxygenate and refresh our bodies which causes stress, anxiety and panic in our body. By practising proper diaphragmatic breathing you will give your body the important message to relax and settle, rather than often being on the edge of anxiety and stress.✨ If you love this meditation, you'll especially love... ✨This powerful guide is the first meditation in a five part 'Nourishing Breath Meditation Collection' I created that will coach you through simple yet relaxing meditations that focuses on proper diaphragmatic breathing. The meditations provide gentle guidance towards deepening your understanding and experience of diaphragmatic breathing through experimenting with different focal points and exercises. Each meditation in the collection builds on from the last, so that you master five transformational breath-focused meditations that will help you settle and soothe your stress or anxiety immediately. This collection is perfect for meditation beginners, or those seeking to return to a simple and powerful practice. By completing the collection, you'll be able to confidently use five different strategies to nourish and calm your body and mind.Explore the 'Nourishing Breath Meditation Collection' here or here https://courses.gabriellademori.com/nourishing-breath-collection~~~To keep in touch and learn more about mindfulness, emotional wellness and living a life of courage, authenticity and self-love. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/gabriella.de.mori/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/gabriellademoricounselling/ Website: www.gabriellademori.com Mindfully,GabriellaRegistered Counsellor & Meditation Coachwww.gabriellademori.com
