Podcast Overview

Growing up, I was often the quiet one in the room that wouldn't talk unless called upon to speak. As I grew and matured, I learned that there is power in knowing when to speak up and when to stay silent. For so long I chose to stay quiet about my relationship with God. A part of me actually thought that was how it was supposed to be. I even thought that church was the only place where God was supposed to be talked about. However, I have since learned that this journey with Christ and growing in my understanding of who he is, is the one thing I really shouldn't and to be honest, can't, keep quiet about. I invite you into my journey and pray you are encouraged through the women who come to share their love and heart for God on each episode!

Navigating Life Post College ft. Lela Collier

So you've got your degree, now what? Navigating life after college can be a challenging season. You've just accomplished something so great, but what happens if things don't go as you expect them to right after graduating? Between the pressure from people/society to have life figured out, and the tension of social media igniting comparison as you watch what everyone is doing, you can begin to feel discouraged, lost, or even hopeless. Join me on this episode for a discussion with Lela Collier about navigating life post college and how God can bring beauty out of whatever you have/are experiencing in this season, or any season of life. Whether you feel sure about what this time of life is supposed to look like or lost and hopeless, join us as we discuss the reality of what this season could look like and explore how God's hand is still over your life no matter where you are as you surrender your life and the details in between to him.

Verses
Titus 2:3-5
'Similarly, teach the older women to live in a way that honors God. They must not slander others or be heavy drinkers. Instead, they should teach others what is good. These older women must train the younger women to love their husbands and their children, to live wisely and be pure, to work in their homes, to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. Then they will not bring shame on the word of God. '

1 Timothy 4:12
'Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. '

Jeremiah 29:11
'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord , thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
