Shallow roots get exposed when life gets hard — when fear takes the mic, shame keeps speaking, and anxiety rises. But it's in digging deeper roots that we find the freedom life God always longed for us to walk in. Real, Spirit-led conversations rooted in God's Word that help you grow in your faith, walk in your identity in Christ, and live fully unveiled. So what's in your root system? God's Word or the world's noise? Around here we dig deep, live unveiled, and grow strong together.
When your faith goes deep, freedom is unveiled.

E6: What If God’s Power Doesn’t Look Like You Expected?
What if God is working right in front of you—but because it doesn’t look the way you expected, you don’t recognize what you’re seeing?
This week on Unveiled Roots, we’re stepping into Isaiah 52 and the beginning of one of the most powerful passages pointing us to Jesus. Before Isaiah ever tells us about the tender shoot, the root out of dry ground, the rejection, the suffering, or the cross, God tells us something first: His Servant will succeed. He will be raised up. He will be highly exalted.
Then Isaiah gives us this incredible picture: “The LORD will lay bare his holy arm…”
In other words, God is about to reveal His strength. His saving power. His salvation.
So what does He reveal?
Jesus.
And this is where it gets really good—because when God revealed His power to the world, it didn’t look anything like humanity expected power to look.
We’re digging into the difference between what God knew was happening and what human eyes thought was happening, why we’re so quick to measure God’s work by what we can see, and one question that may change the way you look at the seasons of your own life:
What if God’s power doesn’t look like you expected?
Grab your coffee and your Bible. We’re digging into Isaiah—and we’re only getting started.

E5: Root Check - What Are Your Roots Feeding On?
It’s the last Wednesday of the month, which means we’re doing something NEW around here—our very first ROOT CHECK!
We’ve spent this month talking about familiar faith, hunger for God, and what happens when pain makes it hard to trust Him. But before we move on, there’s a question worth asking: Is any of it actually taking root in the way we live?
So I brought a plant, a watering can, a weed I pulled out of my yard...and my dad’s old work shirt. 😂 Trust me, it all makes sense once you listen in.
Grab your coffee, your Bible, and maybe a shovel. It’s time to see what’s really growing beneath the surface.

When Pain Makes it Hard to Trust God
Have you ever loved God but struggled to trust Him? You know what Scripture says about His faithfulness, but after what you’ve walked through, your heart is afraid to believe it again.I’ve been there. I remember telling Him through tears, “God, I’m not leaving You. I just can’t trust You right now.” And I meant both of those things. In Episode 4 of Unveiled Roots, I’m pulling back the veil and sharing a tender part of my own story. After a painful divorce and the unraveling of a life I never imagined would fall apart, I still believed in God—but underneath the surface, my trust had been deeply wounded. What I remember most about that season is how gently Jesus kept meeting me. He knew what was underneath my fear, and little by little, He drew my heart toward Him again. If disappointment, loss, or someone else’s choices have left you guarding your heart—even from God—there is room for you in this conversation. You don’t have to find the perfect words or pretend you’re further along than you are. You can begin with what you have, even if all you can say is, “Jesus, I’m still here.”Sometimes the deepest roots begin with one trembling choice to trust Jesus again.🌱 LET’S TALKWhat has helped you begin trusting God again in a difficult season?
