HeartLine Ministries is a syndicated community television program by Community Christian Church in Athens, VT and Life On Main in Charlestown, NH. The program is in Bible study format that focuses on Scripture as it pertains to the heart of each one of us.
In this episode, Pastor Harold Noyes and co-host Pastor Timothy Golden walk through Mark 8:11–21 and Mark 8:27–38 to examine how Jesus confronted deception, religious hypocrisy, and sin/secularism - and how Christians should follow the example Christ set forth for us. They explore Jesus’ strength and willingness to address sin and conflict directly, contrasting the idea of Jesus as passive. They analyze Jesus’ response to the Pharisees’ request for a sign and His warning against religious hypocrisy. They discuss how the "leaven of Herod" represents sin and secularism and the effort to separate faith from public and civil life. They examine why the disciples grew anxious over a single loaf of bread, forgetting Jesus' recent miracles of feeding the 5,000 and 4,000. They review Peter’s declaration that Jesus is the Christ, followed by Jesus' rebuke when Peter attempted to object to the cross and Christ’s upcoming suffering and resurrection. They end with a charge for Christians to deny self, take up their cross daily, and stand bold without being ashamed of the Gospel - and all of what that means.

Why Jesus Cares When Your World Falls Apart
In this episode of Heartline Ministry, Pastor Harold Noyes and co-host Pastor Timothy Golden dive into Mark chapter 8, examining powerful lessons on Christ’s compassion and human forgetfulness. The pastors break down two major accounts: Jesus feeding the 4,000 in the wilderness using just seven loaves and a few fish, and the profound healing of the blind man at Bethsaida. They explore why Jesus cares deeply about both our physical and spiritual needs, why we so easily forget God's past miracles when facing new trials, and how Christ's infinite love extends to both the multitudes and the individual.

Jesus Said What?!
Pastors Harold Noyes and Timothy Golden discuss Mark 7:24–37. The look at the persistence and humility of the Gentile woman, highlighting the unwavering faith and humble desperation as she approached Jesus for her demon-possessed daughter. They also look at the healing of the deaf and mute man, how Jesus healed the man privately, commanding his ears and tongue to open. The pastors draw parallels between the healings and spiritual salvation, noting that approaching God requires acknowledging one's unworthiness and relying entirely on His grace and mercy. Believers are encouraged to maintain persistence in faith and to view God as their first resort rather than a last resort during times of need.
