Chelsey is running solo today with a quick update, a reminder of everything you might have missed!
Life is full right now in the most beautiful and exhausting way for Kylee and Chelsey. Lambing & harvest season is in full swing on the farm and Kylee is finding her footing back in the homeschool routine. So there is no new episode this week and possibly not next week either. But they will be back and they are already ready.
In the meantime Chelsey walks through all nine episodes of season two so you know exactly where to go depending on what you are carrying today. Overwhelm, distraction, busyness, passion and purpose, looking for the good, marriage, simple living, parenting and family, and surrender. One of them has your name on it.
And then the Holy Spirit showed up. Fresh from Mass and with lambs waiting on a bottle, Chelsey shares a quiet moment from her prayer journal about what surrender actually means. Not giving up. Being willing to receive whatever he is willing to give.

Surrender
Surrender might be the hardest thing God ever asks of us. Because it means loosening our grip, trusting his plan over ours, and letting go of the outcome we so badly wanted to control. In this episode Chelsey and Kylee dig into what Scripture says about releasing control and resting in God’s faithful hands. From Jesus sweating drops of blood in the garden to a phone call to adoration that saved a hard conversation, from body image and cereal temptations to fire calls at bedtime with five unbathed kids, this one is real, raw, and full of the kind of surrender that only gets easier with practice.
Luke 22:42-44 – Father if you are willing remove this cup from me. Nevertheless not my will but yours be done. And being in agony he prayed more earnestly and his sweat became like great drops of blood.
Romans 12:1-2 – Present your bodies as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable to God. Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.
Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make straight your paths.
James 4:7 – Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
1 Peter 5:6 – Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God that in due time he may exalt you.
Ephesians 5:21 – Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ.
Surrendering is not giving up. It is giving everything over to the one who loves you the most.

Parenting & Family
Parenting is beautiful, exhausting, and sanctifying all at the same time. And somehow God keeps shaping us right alongside our kids. In this episode Chelsey and Kylee dig into what Scripture says about raising children in faith, setting loving boundaries, and what it actually looks like to build a home that feels like God is in it. From a random man in an elevator delivering the most perfectly timed encouragement to a conversation about Minecraft that neither of them wanted to have, this one is for every parent who is just trying to show up faithfully and figure it out as they go. Marley also had a lot to say.

Psalm 127:3-5 – Sons are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them.
