This podcast is for those of us who aren’t yet ready to have those hearty conversations with the ones they need to that can be family, friends or even with therapists. Instead wind down or not but listen to the conversations/topics discussed and take it in and perhaps you will eventually find the courage to eventually talk about whatever with whomever when you’re ready. Sometimes it’s easier to listen to others first before we have those discussions with the one/s that need to hear them.
This episode I chose to bring you guys closer into a world where you and I can share/listen in on my mental health experiences good or bad. I talk about first starting out with traditional counselling to taking on a more hands on approach with EFT and registering for recovery college courses that’s specialises in specific mental illness related topics such as anxiety, depression, OCD etc. Everyone is different and on a different path to recovery so I wish you all success on this journey to healing.

EP1 Culture and Christianity; Let’s talk about carnival.
I know most of us born and raised in the Caribbean whom enjoy our rich culture or just those with a slight background in the Caribbean and even those who aren’t from there but are curious may often wonder can we go to carnival as devoted children of God? Well this is my humble opinion on the matter, heed to it to make an informed decision or pray and listen for your answer. As always resort to the bible for clarification.

My past won’t let me go.
Have you ever tried to rid yourself of your past experiences by focusing on the future or instead indulging in detrimental ways in order to forget your past. Well you’re not alone I too was just like you. However I’m using a more healthier way to approach and nurture myself about my past. Through my walk with God, meditation, healthier lifestyle I face my past with strength and confidence and with these tips so can you. Be brave be you and trust God!
