What happens when someone else’s blessing feels like your loss?
In this message on envy, Dakota Adair walks through Matthew 20 and the story of the workers in the vineyard, uncovering how comparison can distort the way we see ourselves, others, and God.
Envy isn't just wanting what someone else has. It can reveal a deeper struggle with identity, insecurity, and our trust in God's goodness. But the gospel gives us a different way to live: we don't have to compete, compare, or keep score. We can celebrate what God is doing in someone else's life because their blessing doesn't diminish His goodness toward us.
Big Idea: Their blessing is not your loss.
Scripture: Matthew 20:1–16; Genesis 4:1–10; 1 Corinthians 3:3–8; Romans 8:32; Colossians 3:12
Topics: Envy, Comparison, Grace, Contentment, Identity

Pride | Seven Deadly Sins | Week 1
Pride is more than thinking highly of ourselves. It’s the refusal to be a receiver.
As we begin The Seven Deadly Sins, Dakota Adair takes us from Genesis 3 to Luke 15 to Philippians 2 to uncover what pride really does. It puts us on a throne we were never meant to carry, convincing us to control, prove, hide, compare, and defend ourselves instead of trusting God.
But Jesus shows us another way. While pride grasps, Jesus gives. While pride climbs, Jesus descends. And while pride tells us we have to prove ourselves, the gospel invites us to come with empty hands and receive what we could never earn.
Jesus is on the throne. And you don't have to be.
In this message, we’ll look at what it means to stop grasping, start receiving, and find freedom in being fully known and deeply loved by God.

The One Constant
Life rarely slows down. Decisions come, demands pile up, grief weighs on us, and obedience can feel costly. Yet through every pressure Jesus faced, one thing remained constant: He went to the Father.
In this message, Cy Calhoun walks through four moments from the life of Jesus that reveal this pattern: before a major decision, in the middle of overwhelming busyness, under the weight of grief, and when obedience meant walking toward the cross.
But Jesus is more than an example for us to follow. He is our Savior. Jesus did what we could never do, surrendering to the Father's will and going to the cross so that we could be brought near to God.
Whatever you're carrying today, the invitation is simple: go to the Father.
Scripture: Luke 6:12–13; Mark 1:32–39; Matthew 14:13–23; Matthew 26:36–46; James 1:5
