Welcome to the house. Heirloom Tomatoes is a place for honest conversations about life. Because life isn't lived in one room- or one niche. Every week, we step into a different room to explore faith, family, healing, relationships, identity, marriage, purpose, and the stories we've inherited. Together, we'll learn what to keep, what to let go of, and how to follow Jesus more faithfully in the ordinary moments of life, always keeping Him at the center of every conversation.
Why Does Everyone Else Seem Ahead of Me? | Comparison & Faith
Have you ever looked at someone else’s life and wondered, Why am I not there yet?
In this episode, I’m talking about when admiration quietly turns into comparison—and how easy it is to start measuring your life, your calling, and your faith against someone else’s.
Maybe you feel behind, stuck, or like you’re not doing enough. What if this season isn’t a setback, but preparation?
Your assignment is different because your story is different.

Pruning: Why God Removes Things Before You Grow
I really didn't know where this episode was going when I hit record... and somehow we ended up talking about pruning.
We talk about journaling, healing, difficult friendships, forgiveness, and why I don't think pruning is God's punishment—I think it's His preparation.
Also, if you hear a change in my voice halfway through the episode... that's because I recorded the first half in the morning and the second half at 2:00 a.m. 😂 Such is life when you're the host, producer, editor, and the person who forgot to do the dishes.
Anyways, grab your herbal tea and come hang out with me for a little while. I hope this conversation encourages you. 🌿

Before We Step Inside
Well... we made it.
Welcome to the official first episode of Heirloom Tomatoes—even though I somehow managed to record Episode Two before Episode One. 😅
Today I'm sharing a little bit of my story, the people who helped shape me, why this podcast is called Heirloom Tomatoes, and what I hope this little corner of the internet becomes.
If you've ever wondered how our stories, families, and faith shape the people we become, I think you'll feel right at home.
So grab your herbal tea, get comfortable, and come on in!

Welcome to Heirloom Tomatoes - Trailer
Welcome to Heirloom Tomatoes.
This is more than a podcast—it's a house.
Every week, we'll step into a different room for honest conversations about faith, family, healing, relationships, identity, and the stories we inherit. Some weeks we'll laugh, some weeks we'll wrestle with hard questions, and through it all, we'll keep Jesus at the center.
In this trailer, I'll share the heart behind Heirloom Tomatoes and why I hope this becomes a place you can return to week after week.
I'm really glad you're here.
