Held. Healed. Looking back over my life, I see the evidence of God’s presence. I have always been held. In recent years, I began a journey of healing. Healing takes time. I have come so far and there is so much to learn. Join me as I share my story and the stories of others who are held and healed. I am surrounded by a village of fellow warriors. We are using our voices to raise awareness and advocate for survivors. We will explore the realities of sexual abuse, domestic violence and spiritual abuse and glean from resources that will bless you on your healing journey.
It has been five months since Hurricane Helene hit. The devastation is incomprehensible and there are many areas that still look like they did in October. This should not be reality in the USA, but it is. Honor Project Movement has been raising funds, sending supplies, networking, and partnering with boots on the ground since the first week. We have so many more projects we want to do there, even as we continue to serve domestic violence survivors. We need funds, supplies, and volunteers.

Episode 104: Let’s Be Good Helpers
Four weeks ago, Hurricane Helene devastated our neighboring states with a ferocity that was unprecedented. We may never fully know the impact of this disaster that destroyed lives, pets, livelihoods, homes, vehicles, and ecosystems. I will not forget the ones who are suffering. The areas that can be rebuilt will take time and resources. Let’s find ways to HELP, for the long haul. Check out Project Renew Adopt-a-Family at helenevolunteers.org/adopt-a-family. Honor Project Movement will continue to do what we can to support the ones we can. Go to https://honorprojectmovement.org/ to donate or send a check to HPM at PO Box 209 McGaheysville, VA 22840.
