I am Nick Carter. The other one. I writes books and plays music and talks about whatever I wants. This podcast is my attempt to share the experiences of my generation, Gen X, so younger generations will understand why we are so charming and why we are accidentally destroying everything. I mostly talk about events that shaped our lives. I also offer my cat asparagus from time to time.
Nick Carter discusses bands that went from being the biggest rock band of their time, to being universally despised within a year. As genres change, old genres either slowly fade away or are ridiculed. When is the next change coming.
I talk about Creed and Mark Tremonti's stint as the greatest Frank Sinatra impersonator ever. A little story about Warrant. And lightly dig into the possibility that Bobbie Brown and Bobby Brown are not the same person.

Civil War Part 2 - The Movie
Part 2 of my discussion on the Civil War, with a focus on the movie. Listen to part 1 first. In this discussion, I go into the great decisions that were made in the new movie. I talk about what I think this movie really says about journalists, and what it would take to really sustain a Civil War.
Both parts 1 and 2 are in a single video that was live streamed on YouTube.

Civil War Part 1 - The War
I saw the Civil War movie, and wanted to talk about everyone's favorite wet dream. How close we are to starting another Civil War. Find out why things aren't as bleak as you might hope. In this first part, I talk about the events and state of mind that led to the first Civil War.
This is part of an accidental two part series, because I accidentally stopped the recording in the middle. Just listen to the next one.
Both parts 1 and 2 are in a single video that was live streamed on YouTube.
