What’s poppin + WTF is good! Happy spooky season y feliz día de los muertos!
On this episode we’re joined by the one and only, DJ JUANNY. He’s an SF-based DJ/producer and also the creator of Amor Digital, a music collective, magazine & recording studio, that “aims to produce, support and spotlight music + design with roots in the Americas and the Caribbean.” For more visit the AD website (https://amor-digital.com/about-us).
On this episode we chopped it up about our first memories of reggaeton and the evolution of this genre that we love so much. The range of reggaeton is real.
Also, let us know what you think about the reggaetonero-to-tr*mp-pipeline because wtf is going on in el género? AND why are the majority of the artists we luv simply watching hot girl Nicky Jam cape for DT and staying quiet? Truly gag worthy to be at this POV.

22. Festival Confessionals ft. Camilo Cue & Franny
RIP to summer 2024! This episode was a festival recap of three festivals that we individually went to - Baja Beach Fest, Bass Canyon Fest, and Outsidelands. Hella different genres and vibes but lots to discuss revolving festival culture, do's and don'ts, the pros and cons, and so so much more.
What festivals did you attend this year? Do you have any favorites? Or were you nose diving into your hustle era? Whatever it may be, DM me on Instagram. Let's chat.

21. From the Bay Area pa'l mundo ft. KG y Gio
Reverse and draw 2... We're taking it way back to the origin story of a reggaeton duo based out of the East Bay!
KG y Gio are two brothers that have managed to stay true to the elements of perreo, which, what are they? There's no periodic table for these elements, aka it's a feeling, los que saben saben kinda thing. They've been making music since 2008 and have watched the genre of reggaeton expand into what it is now. On this episode, we talked about some of the first songs they wrote and the background stories of how they were created. Of course, tangents along the way but overall, this episode was really fun to record and edit! ALSO, I'm hella sorry for the missing audio clips, I made up for it with some creative production, enjoy bb.
