But that's just what is going on across the pond with our ally in the east and little did we know that the status of the Hemp Industry in India is groundbreaking and about to take the industry by storm and Hempstreet is doing just that. </p> <p>This episode was recorded months ago during the lockdowns across the globe and we finally have a chance to get Abhishek Mohan published on the show and hear about the preparations he's been working on these last months for the VERY clear runway of HempStreet.</p> <p>Hempstreet is India's first research to retail venture in the ayurvedic cannabis sector. We are working in conjunction with top notch scientists to conduct r&d around safe medication utilizing cannabis to be provided via our network of over 60,000 medical practitioners and 220 clinics around India. We strive to bring an effective and responsible usage of cannabis, especially on the pain relief front, to our potential patient base of over 35 million individuals. <p>Allison Justice graduated from Clemson University with a Ph.D. in Plant and Environmental Science. Dr. Justice served as VP of Cultivation for OutCo LLC., a vertically integrated cannabis producer in San Diego, CA, for three years. During this time, Justice led the cannabis industry in photobiology research where she dispelled the myths around growing with sole-source LEDs when being compared to legacy technology. This research led to expanding OutCo’s total canopy area by over 2x while reducing energy costs by 60%.<br> <br> Today Dr. Justice owns a large scale hemp CBD extraction facility, SC Botanicals, in her home state of South Carolina. Dr. Justice also is Co-owner and manages operations at The Hemp Mine, a 40-acre hemp farm which manufactures consumer ready products. The Hemp Mine currently produces a wide array of different products ranging from smoke-able flower to tinctures of different concentrations for both humans and animals. The Hemp Mine breeds, regionally trials indoors and outdoors at scale in order to offer validated hemp genetics to the hemp market. The genetics they offer are only in the form of stage III tissue culture, unrooted cuttings and rooted cuttings (liners), clones, to the hemp market through 6 greenhouse production partners and two TC facilities across the country. The Hemp Mine comes with decades of commercial horticultural expertise and prides themselves on delivering a science based and data driven perspective to the hemp industry.<br> <br> Additionally Dr. Justice has been an integral part of the California Industrial Hemp Advisory Board and SC Farm Bureau helping to advise policy and regulation.
