Ep 46: Whose Voice Is That? The Thoughts Shaping Your Career
Some of the thoughts that keep you small arrived long before you had the words to question them. A label from the playground. A throwaway comment from a manager. A belief passed down from mother to daughter. They sit so quietly in your head that it's easy to assume they're yours.
Picking up a thread from her conversation with Karol Barac in Episode 44, about how we absorb other people's energy without realising it, Christina asks a question that comes before "Is it true?": is this thought even mine? She explores where borrowed thoughts come from, why they live in the body as well as the mind, and why the inner voice holding you back was once trying to keep you safe. She shares why changing her thought patterns wasn't enough on its own, and how working with Karol helped her release what was stored in her body. Drawing on a client's story and her own generational belief tying worth to income, uncovered after a launch that didn't sell, she offers three simple questions to help you work out whose voice you're really hearing.
The three questions:
Whose voice does this sound like?
When did I first hear it? How old was I, where was I, and what was happening?
Who would I be without it?
As you ask each one, notice where it shows up in your body.
For any woman at a career crossroads who has caught herself shrinking without quite knowing why, this episode is a gentle reminder that nothing about you is broken, and that the woman underneath all that borrowed noise has been there all along.

Ep 45: Your Thoughts Are Creating Your Career Reality
Some thoughts are so familiar we stop noticing them.
"It's too late for me to apply."
"I don't have enough experience for the job."
"I'm not ready for my dream role yet."
They run quietly in the background, and as Christina explains in this episode, they have far more say over your career than you might realise.
The same theme surfaced in Christina's recent client sessions, and in her own head. In response, Christina explores why "your thoughts create your reality" is less about the law of attraction and more about the chain between thought, emotion and action. She shares what the research says about how many thoughts we have each day. She then walks through the STEAR framework using a familiar example: The dream role you talk yourself out of applying for. She also opens up about the loop she's been in with her own business, and the questions, inspired by the work of Byron Katie, that she's using to break it.
This episode is for any woman who has felt herself shrink in front of an opportunity she really wanted. That thought may feel like a fact. It isn't, and what happens next is yours to decide.

Ep 44: The Energy You're Not Aware You're Carrying
Have you ever felt an energy in a room, a person, or a moment that you couldn't quite explain – but knew was real? This episode invites you to trust that instinct.
Christina is joined by her longtime friend and healer, Karol Barac, a Reiki practitioner, spinal energetics practitioner and Akashic Records reader whose own path into energy work began in the hardest way imaginable – following the sudden loss of her daughter, Olivia, in 2021. Karol shares how repeated, unmistakable signs from Olivia in the days after her death led her – sceptical at first – into studying the Akashic Records, and eventually into a career spent helping thousands of people release trauma, regulate their nervous systems, and reconnect with who they really are.
Together they unpack how the nervous system holds onto what the mind has already moved past, why blending ancient modalities with modern science is changing how we understand healing, and what it actually means to walk into a room, submit an application, or make a decision from a place of calm rather than fear. Karol also shares her honest, no-fad approach to energy work: start slow, stay curious, and never mistake someone else's healing journey for your own.
For any woman quietly wondering whether the calm she's chasing might come from somewhere other than another to-do list ticked off, this conversation offers a different way in – one that starts with listening to the body, and ends with coming back to yourself.
