The Boring Website Page That Could Get Your Business Found
FAQs might not be the most exciting page on your website but they could be doing far more for your visibility than you realise.
In this episode, I’m talking about why FAQs are becoming increasingly important for small business websites - not just for your customers, but for Google and AI search too.
We’ll look at how answering the questions your customers are already asking can help search engines understand what you do, make your website genuinely more useful and give your business a better chance of being found and recommended online.
Plus, I’ll share some simple ideas for finding the right questions to answer on your own website.
🎧 If your FAQ section is currently an afterthought (or you haven’t got one at all!), this one’s for you.

Fake It Till You Make It: Because Sometimes You’ve Just Got to Wing It
What if “fake it till you make it” isn’t about being fake at all?
In this episode of Her Handmade Hustle: Unplugged, I’m talking about confidence in business, backing yourself and why sometimes you have to start before you feel completely ready.
And it all starts with a friend of mine who launched a gardening business during Covid despite one fairly significant detail… she wasn’t actually a gardener.
But she put herself out there, found customers, learned as she went and made it work.
We’re talking about the difference between being inauthentic and simply having the confidence to sell yourself, why so many small business owners downplay what they’re good at, and how waiting until you feel 100% qualified can hold you back.
If you’ve ever struggled with imposter syndrome, worried you’re not experienced enough or found it painfully awkward to tell people you’re actually bloody good at what you do, this one’s for you.
In this episode:
What “fake it till you make it” really means in business
Building confidence before you feel completely ready
Why we need to get better at selling ourselves
Learning as you go without pretending to know everything
Getting past imposter syndrome and having the nerve to just go for it
Sometimes you don’t need another course, qualification or six months of overthinking.
Sometimes you’ve just got to wing it.
Need a bit of help getting your own business seen? I help small businesses with websites, Google visibility, SEO and straightforward marketing support — without making it all more complicated than it needs to be.
Come and have a nosy at herhandmadehustle.co.uk (http://herhandmadehustle.co.uk) and see how I can help.

Why Are We All in Such a Bloody Rush?
Ever feel like you’re permanently rushing…yet somehow STILL not getting everything done?
Yep. Same!
This episode starts with one particularly chaotic day involving a menopause clinic, a floor fitter, a blocked toilet (again) and approximately 47 other things I was trying to squeeze into a completely normal-sized day.
Not long afterwards, I found myself sitting in a coffee shop with a matcha, attempting to answer emails and having a massive panic attack about how on earth I was going to juggle work, childcare and the six-week summer holidays.
So, we’re talking about that constant feeling of being rushed - why we put so much pressure on ourselves to get everything ticked off, why sometimes there genuinely AREN’T enough hours in the day and what happens when we keep trying to shove square pegs into round holes.
Whether you run a business, have kids, don’t have kids, or just regularly wonder how everyone else seems to be keeping up with life…I think you’ll relate to this one.
🎧 Grab a brew (or a matcha, if you dare) and have a listen.
