HQB ep 11: a little look inside my process of change

I wanted to give you a little sneak peek into my process what really happens for me when things are surfacing and all the emotions, fear and discomfort begin to move. For years I approached change through the mind. What is wrong? What needs to change? How can I do better? And while that awareness was an important place to begin, I’ve come to see that there is so much more living in the body. The terror, scariness, fear … all that is real and alive there So this my experience of what it means to not immediately be reactive to what surfaces. To pause To go within and ask, how does this feel? To simply be with what is here, without fixing, without needing to understand it, without trying to get out of it or escape it Because I am finding there is magic in what is surfacing Sometimes it is not something to get rid of but something waiting to be felt

HQB ep 10: I'm learning that doing less is harder than doing more

A little entry from my living journal This one is about the journey back home into the body and what changes when we stop treating our mind, emotions, physical health and inner world as separate. I share some of what I’ve been learning about nourishment, spaciousness, listening, and the uncomfortable edges that arise when we begin to live differently from the patterns we once knew as safe Reflecting on being a cyclical woman, the ebb and flows between rest and action and what it means to not only listen to the body but to respect and honour what we hear

HQB ep 9: why we struggle to trust the seasons we’re in

A little entry from my living journal. This episode is a reflection on seasons, the ones happening around us and the ones quietly moving within us. On internal winters, the discomfort of not knowing, letting old ways fall away, and trusting that just because we cannot yet see the growth, does not mean nothing is happening. Sharing learning to listen to the body, honouring what each season is asking of us, and allowing life to be more cyclical, subtle, and responsive. A reminder for anyone who needs it ... you do not need to be in constant bloom

HQB ep8: the truth beneath the patterns we keep repeating with Luka Rose Watson

In this beautiful episode I’m joined by a past mentor Luka Rose Watson who has profoundly shaped my inner work, especially through pregnancy and postpartum seasons. We talk about the ways we unknowingly protect ourselves from the lives we say we want. The stories we repeat. The identities we cling to. The places we stay comfortable, even when they no longer feel true Inside this conversation, we explore: 🌿 Why awareness alone doesn’t change our lives and what actually begins to 🌿 The quiet cost of outsourcing our truth to mentors, systems, or identities 🌿 The blind spots we can’t access alone and why safe reflection matters 🌿 Values versus desire, and how your life reveals what you truly live by 🌿Why healing requires relationship, not isolation 🌿 The role of shadow in real integration and reclaiming your inner authority 🌿 What it means to take radical responsibility without shame The one to listen to when you are ready to stop surviving in your life and start meeting yourself with honesty, depth and self-responsibility (without shame) ______________________________ Connect with Luka https://www.instagram.com/lukarosewatson/

HQB ep 7: why rejecting parts of yourself keeps you stuck

In this episode, I want to share something that landed so deeply for me recently ... how rejecting the parts of ourselves we don’t like only keeps us stuck. We all know the feeling: you know what patterns, habits, or parts of yourself aren’t serving you. You’ve tried to let go, shed, and release ... but somehow, they just keep coming back. The frustration, the self-judgment, the looping… it can feel endless. What I’ve come to understand is it’s not about doing the “right” practices or knowing the principles. It’s about how we relate to the parts we want to release. When we reject, avoid, or push them away, we actually give them more power. Inside the episode I share: 🪞 Why avoiding the “shadow” only fuels repetition 🪞 How the parts of you you’ve judged or hidden have actually been protectors 🪞 The courage and curiosity it takes to lean into discomfort and the parts you’ve been running from 🪞 How this awareness can finally create space for the new version of you you’ve been craving If you’ve ever felt exhausted from trying to “fix” yourself, or frustrated that nothing seems to stick, this episode is for you. It’s an invitation to finally move through the loops with gentleness and presence and open to the transformation that’s waiting on the other side.

HQB ep6: when being really consistent with exercising and nutrition doesn’t feel successful and what’s NEEDS to change

In this episode of Her Quiet Bloom, I’m sharing a part of my health journey many of us recognise ... doing all the “right” things, following the plans, showing up with discipline… and still feeling tired, inconsistent, and like it was never quite enough. I share about the perfectionism, the all-or-nothing cycles, and the quiet frustration of trying so hard for results that never seemed to last. Inside this episode: 🌿 Why doing “all the right things” with food and movement can still leave you exhausted and frustrated 🌿 The hidden pressure of perfect routines and how it quietly leads to burnout and inconsistency 🌿 All-or-nothing patterns AND why one missed habit can spiral into self-criticism and giving up 🌿 How over-planning, rigid schedules, and lack of flexibility sabotage consistency 🌿 The difference between ticking boxes and actually feeling nourished in your body 🌿 Where perfectionism and control turn into procrastination and self-sabotage 🌿 Shifting from discipline driven by guilt to habits rooted in energy, pleasure, and sustainability 🌿 Why health isn’t an endpoint! how learning to enjoy the process changes everything

HQB ep5: let’s talk about postpartum (the part we don’t see) with Sarah

In this episode of Her Quiet Bloom I’m joined by my beautiful midwife Sarah who walked beside me through pregnancy, birth, and the initiation of postpartum. This episode is truly for mothers, mothers-to-be, and anyone sensing that motherhood (and womanhood) is not meant to be rushed, fixed, or navigated alone. In this episode, we explore (a lot): 🌿 What the first weeks after birth actually ask of a woman (beyond preparation, plans, or cultural narratives) 🌿 What a woman’s body most needs in postpartum 🌿 Why honouring the postpartum window matters, and how it impacts a woman’s body, relationships, and life for years to come 🌿 How postpartum is a spiritual initiation that transforms identity, perspective, and a woman’s relationship to herself and the world 🌿 Why modern culture leaves mothers unprepared and how community changes that 🌿 The emotional and physical signs that arise when a woman hasn’t had enough support, space, or care after birth 🌿 Ancestral postpartum care, plant medicine, ritual, and earth-based support 🌿 Postpartum as a sacred initiation, a profound threshold that reshapes a woman for every season of motherhood (not just a recovery phase) 🌿 Why postpartum support is one of the greatest investments a woman can make ----------------------------------------------------------------- Connect with Sarah https://www.instagram.com/bridging_worlds_midwifery/ https://bwmidwife.com/

HQB ep4: why we sabotage the life we want (and how to stop)

We often know how to create change but the part thats less visible is the part that matters most is our capacity to hold the life we’re calling in. In this episode of Her Quiet Bloom, I explore why we unconsciously sabotage the very things we desire . The subtle patterns that pull us back into old loops, the comfort zones we return to automatically, and the fears that surface once change begins to work. If you’ve ever wondered why you keep ending up back in the same place this episode will resonate. In this episode, we explore: 🌿 Why creating change can feel easier than maintaining it and how nervous system capacity shapes this 🌿 The hidden fears that trigger self-sabotage when life starts expanding (visibility, worth, responsibility, loss) 🌿 How the body’s internal “set point” pulls us back to familiar patterns 🌿 What it really means to expand your capacity to hold more, not just do more 🌿 How sabotage often shows up subtly through familiar habits and behaviours 🌿 The role of embodiment in making your dream life feel safe and sustainable 🌿 Why discomfort is often part of learning to hold the next level 🌿 How aligned action and nervous system regulation work together 🌿 Reflections to help you notice where you’re looping and how to interrupt the cycle Because the dream isn’t just about reaching it ... it’s about being able to stay

HQB - ep 3: a soft insight into this season of my life

In this episode I share about a season that quietly restructured my entire life! Through pregnancy, birth, and the transition into motherhood, I moved through a deep inner unraveling that didn’t happen overnight BUT unfolded in layers, spirals, and thresholds that reshaped how I live, feel, and trust myself. If you’re in a season of transition, in-between, initiation, or quiet inner change ... this is for you. INSIDE THE EPISODE:🌿 What shifted on the surface (pregnancy, birth + postpartum) 🌿 What transformed underneath (spiritually, emotionally, energetically) 🌿 Letting go of old identities + roles 🌿 What it feels like to trust intuition when logic no longer has the answers 🌿 Learning to use the body as a compass instead of relying solely on the mind 🌿 How support, mentorship, and community made it possible to soften rather than self-protect 🌿 Navigating grief, spiritual awakening, intuition + identity  shifts 🌿 Understanding life as a spiral and what happens when revisiting old themes with deeper awareness and truth 🌿 The freedom that comes from letting old versions of yourself fall away This episode is an invitation to slow down, listen beneath the surface, and trust that the becoming happening inside you matters (even if no one else can see it yet) 🌿 What transformed underneath (spiritually, emotionally, energetically) 🌿 How support and mentorship made the difference 🌿 Why inner change happens long before the outer pieces move 🌿 Letting go of old identities + roles 🌿 Trusting the body over the mind 🌿 Navigating grief, softness, intuition + identity 🌿 Releasing productivity + redefining purpose 🌿 Living more present, embodied + aligned 🌿 The invitation to let change deepen you rather than define you

HQB - ep2: closing the year and how I am preparing for 2026

In this episode of Her Quiet Bloom I share a gentler way to close the year and welcome what’s emerging next. This is not about resolutions, fixing, or pushing toward a new version of yourself but honouring the season you’ve lived, allowing what’s ready to shed, and preparing the body and nervous system for what wants to unfold. HQB - ep1: moving from force to feminine flow

This first episode is a gentle opening into Her Quiet Bloom A living journal where I share what has been moving through me and is shaping this season of my life, moving from force, hustle, and performance to a return to a slower, more embodied way of living. In this episode, I share the foundations of Her Quiet Bloom, why this space exists, what it holds, and how quiet, intentional unfolding can reshape the way we move through every season of womanhood. In this episode, we explore: The intention behind Her Quiet Bloom as a living, breathing journal Motherhood, birth, and the unravelling of conditioned ways of being Why force, hustle, and self-reliance often lead to exhaustion and disconnection The illusion of control and the cost of constant striving How familiar patterns continue to recreate the same outcomes The body and nervous system as the foundation for real change Practice, consistency, and anchoring into a new way of being Quiet transformation vs. dramatic, performative change Cycles, seasons, and allowing life to move with us Returning to feminine wisdom, intuition, and inner safety This episode is an invitation to slow down, question what you’ve been taught, and begin listening inward again.
