Her love for people shines through in all she does. Tanecia's life, like many of ours, has been filled with trials and tribulations. She lost her dad at seven and that set her on a path of feeling unworthy of protection and totally alone. These emotions led to risky decisions and heartbreaking realities. Tanecia was a rape victim at 15, had a miscarriage at 16, was in an abusive relationship with a man nine years her senior at 17, and at 18 became a mom. Today she stands powerful in who she is and knows that God is using her passions to love people, something we are all called to do. <p>Meet Jaliyah, owner of <a href="https://shygirlthreads.com/">Shy Girl Threads</a>. Jaliyah is passionate about affordable thrifted fashion pieces that are good for the environment. After consistently hearing from others about their struggles to find nice items in thrift shops, Jaliyah decided to meet their need by thrift shopping for them. Her online store, Shy Girl Threads, consists of the amazing thrifted pieces she has found while rummaging through countless donations to her local shops. Her carefully curated pieces are totally trendy, great for the environment, and easy on the wallet. #winning In this episode, she not only shares her stori about starting her own business and what entrepreneurship is like, she also opens up about self confidence and imposter syndrome. She inspires us all to pursue what we love and know the rest will fall into place. </p>

<p>Lena is a Middle School Principle by day and accessory shop owner 24/7. Lena launched <a href="https://www.unbotheredaccessories.com/">Unbothered Accessories</a>, an online accessory shop, simply because she loves accessories and wanted to share that with others. In this episode you'll hear her talk about how she came up with the name, what entrepreneurship is like and the importance of asking for help. We also discuss being an empath and the importance empaths have in setting boundaries and saying no. Lena and I have a thought provoking conversation around racial injustice, racism, and white privilege. She shares some experiences she has had as a Black Woman in America and they just scratch the surface of what Black Women go through. </p>
