Het Bewoonde Eiland - Cuyp Special
<p>Columnist Kees Thies wandelt vandaag met Sander Paarlberg. Hij is conservator oude kunst bij het Dordrechts Museum en heeft de afgelopen 6 jaar gewerkt aan de tentoonstelling ‘In het licht van Cuyp’ in het Dordrechts Museum.<br /> <br /> Sander vertelt in geuren en kleuren over het leven van de 17e eeuwse schilder Aelbert Cuyp, diens liefde voor Dordrecht, carrière als schilder, maar ook zeker over de invloed die hij enkele eeuwen later had op schilders als Gainsborough, Constable en Turner.<br /> <br /> Samen lopen ze vanaf het Dordrechts Museum, via onder andere de Augustijnenkerk, het woonhuis van Cuyp aan de Nieuwbrug, naar Cuyp’s geboortehuis aan de Nieuwe Haven.<br /> <br /> Deze podcast is een productie van Studio Roodenburch, in samenwerking met journalist en columnist Kees Thies en kwam tot stand dankzij een bijdrage van Dordrechts Museum in het kader van de tentoonstelling 'In het licht van Cuyp. <p>In het kader van 800 jaar Dordrecht ging (én gaat) AD-columnist Kees Thies met diverse prominente Dordtenaren ‘aan de wandel’ op verschillende plekken in de stad.<br /> <br /> Een wandeling met rasartiest Marjolein Meijers is voor Kees Thies een beetje een thuiswedstrijd. Samen maken en presenteren ze al ruim vijf jaar achtereen de muzikale theatertalkshow Kunstmin Live en je zou dus kunnen stellen dat de twee goed op elkaar zijn ingespeeld. <br /> <br /> Maar wat kun je verwachten als een geslepen ex-Berini, die jaren achtereen de grote zalen volspeelde aan de wandel gaat met een doorgewinterde columnist? <p>In het kader van 800 jaar Dordrecht ging (én gaat) AD-columnist Kees Thies met diverse prominente Dordtenaren ‘aan de wandel’ op verschillende plekken in de stad. <br /> <br /> Radiomaker Ben Corino heeft al een leven als zorgverlener achter zich. Vandaag de dag kennen we hem vooral als presentator en samensteller van het lokale radioprogramma ‘Studio De Witt’, waarin hij, al vele jaren achtereen, wekelijks bekende en minder bekende Dordtenaren ontvangt. <br /> <br /> In de lokale politiek kent hij alle wandelgangen, maar ook in de stad zelf weet hij verdraaid goed wegwijs. Thies en Corino, zo blijkt tijdens de wandeling, hebben véél gemeen en dat uit zich vooral in hun liefde voor een stad waar ze beiden niet eens het levenslicht zagen. <br /> <br /> Luister naar twee in Rotterdam geboren import-schapekoppen… samen druk delibererend aan de wandel in en óver de stad waaraan ze hun hart verloren.
