De honderdste Ketelhuis Podcast! Een mooi moment om - live vanuit ons café - de stand van zaken te bespreken in Nederland filmland. Met Volkskrantjournalist Bor Beekman als tafelheer die zich naar believen overal mee mocht bemoeien. Het beoogde kabinet-Schoof wil cultuur te belasten met een BTW-verhoging, van 9 naar 21%, maar ontziet daarbij de bioscopen. Wat vindt Ron Sterk, dertig jaar in het filmvertonersvak en CEO van de Nederlandse tak van Vue, daar eigenlijk van? Met vader en zoon Marc en Marten van Warmerdam reflecteren we op de positie van producenten, en hoe die in de jaren is veranderd. En we moesten het natuurlijk hebben over het Nederlands Film Festival, want dat kreeg begin juni te horen dat de gemeentelijke subsidie van bijna 6 ton op de tocht staat. Zakelijk directeur Marjolijn Bronkhuyzen kreeg in haar verontwaardiging bijval van Marc van Warmerdam.

Dat is de vraag achter Skunk, waarin een 17-jarige jongen in de jeugdzorg belandt. Skunk werd gemaakt door de Vlaamse regisseur Koen Mortier, die in zijn oeuvre de moeilijke onderwerpen niet schuwt, en er ook niet voor terugdeinst om die rauw in beeld te brengen. Floortje Smit ging met hem wandelen in de buurt van het Amsterdamse Amstelstation.
