Rapper Yousef Gnaoui (alias Sef) kan terugkijken op het meest vruchtbare jaar van zijn carrière. Zijn album lieve monsters bracht hem eindelijk naar de felbegeerde Alpha-tent op Lowlands. Single ‘Voor Alles Bang’ met Wende groeide uit tot een dansvloerkraker over angst in al zijn vormen, een bijzonder contrast dat beloond werd met de 3voor12 Song van het Jaar. En achter de schermen werkte hij als art-director met talloze artiesten, waaronder Froukje en S10. Zo zet hij zijn twintig jaar ervaring als artiest om in klinkende creatieve munt. Marjolein Moorman
Afgelopen voorjaar verruilde Marjolein Moorman haar wethouderspost in Amsterdam voor een onzekere toekomst in de Tweede Kamer. Ze is een overtuigd sociaal-democraat die gelooft dat je vol moet investeren in onderwijs, huisvesting en gezondheidszorg. Met een flinke dosis optimisme en dadendrang toog ze naar Den Haag maar de verkiezingsuitslag werd een koude douche voor haar Groenlinks-PvdA. Toch zien velen haar als het ideale nieuwe gezicht van progressief Nederland. Kan en wil ze dat waarmaken en wat drijft haar? En heeft ze echt een antwoord op het alsmaar groeiende rechts populisme?
