Infertility, Miscarriages and Pregnancy with Megan Frank

Today we’ll be talking to Megan Frank about her journey to parenthood. Megan lives in Minnesota and is a Senior Buyer for Target Corporate. Megan and her husband Matt began their journey to parenthood back in 2015, shortly after realizing that they might need to turn to science to help begin their family. After a few rounds of medicated treatments with timed intercourse, finding an infertility clinic, invasive testing, being diagnosed with PCOS, 2 rounds of IUI, and one round of IVF, an OHSS diagnosis (ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome) + 2 hospital visits, a pause for some healing, and a frozen embryo transfer, they became pregnant with their first baby, Juliette, who was born via emergency c-section in July of 2017. In 2018, they knew they wanted to expand their family using their additional frozen embryos. After a frozen embryo transfer, a miscarriage at 11 weeks, 2 D&C’s, additional testing, a 2nd frozen embryo transfer, a 2nd miscarriage, a 3rd frozen embryo transfer, a 3rd miscarriage, a change of IVF clinics another round of IVF retrieval, and a 4th embryo transfer, they became pregnant with their baby Kennedy.
