Things take time.
I am sharing this after am 8 year weight loss turned self-love transformation... that is still going because it was so much more than weight.
A conversation that is coming up is how women are looking in the mirror and not believing what they see. They are losing weight so rapidly that their mind has not had a chance to catch up with their current body/weight.
So many are feeling foreign in their body and disconnected from their body.
That can be super confusing.
It can take time for your mind to catch up to what you are looking back at in the mirror.
You can lose weight and still hate yourself/body, and only see the old version of you. So many times the weight doesn't actually matter because you need a mind, body, and soul transformation.
Let's talk about the weight?
Why is it there? What is it protecting? Are there things that you went through that you need to work through?
If there is one thing I will share when it comes to shifting your mindset, especially when it comes to weight, is changing the way you speak about yourself!
So many times we speak death over who we are, when we are called to speak life into ourselves. I personally started with speaking affirmations over myself, and talk more about it in Arise & Radiate.
When you can connect with yourself and trust yourself, everything changes. Transformation can take time, but it's so worth it!
You start to LIVE OUT LOUD!

Please know you are not alone if you look in the mirror, after losing weight, and thought weight loss was going to fix everything, but it didn't.
Weight loss can reveal other areas that may need some time and attention, and beliefs that need to be shifted.
Think about your entire being needing to recalibrate!
Yes, you can feel confident after losing weight, but when you can feel confident as a whole person, you become magnetic!!
You can lose weight and still feel so disconnected from yourself.
You were meant to radiate confidence.
To live out loud.
To shine your light.

26. I was called a Wh*re
Today on Hey, Lacie Jaye! The Podcast:
I was walking downtown with my daughter and a woman walking past us looked at me and called me a whore.
I laughed out loud because anyone who knows me, knows that is so far from the truth.
Her words couldn't stick on me because I am confident in who I am.... so why I am I sharing this with you??
Because we have all had moments where someone we know or don't know has said something to us or about us that makes us spiral.
Something stuck because there is a part of you that believes it.
I believe this is happening because I am called to help other women step into unshakable confidence. Where you are so confident that radiate it out into the world.
Using your voice.
Sharing your gifts.
Stepping into your vision.
Living your life out loud.

24. When Your Faith Shatters but You Know God is Real
Today on Hey, Lacie Jaye! The Podcast:
Sharing the messy middle.
Church hurt is very real, and it's an interesting feeling going back as a completely different person.
I'm not 100% sure where I even stand, but I know myself enough to trust my intuition and it leading me back to a series that a local church is doing.
It has spoken life into me, and even realizing where Arise & Radiate came from. Stillness and solitude has revealed so much of who I am, and has allowed me to become who I am created to be.
In this episode I share two events that without a doubt I have to believe that God is real, even after walking away from church.
Both have to do with accidents with my daugher.
One where she fell out of a shopping cart and the other was when she was life flighted for sepsis.
The only way to explain what I felt was this peace that surpasses all understanding, and the fact that I experienced an angel.
PS. I called bing bong for the longest time. I feel the need to share this because I understand why people use other words to describe God.
