This is a continuation of where I left off 4 years ago. Only now, life looks different.
I built the routine, the career, the version of stability I used to want. And for the most part, I’m happy. But somewhere in that process, I lost touch with the one thing that used to help me make sense of everything: writing.
This episode isn’t about falling apart. It’s about what comes after.
Who you are when life finally feels okay, and what it means to reconnect with the parts of yourself that don’t come from survival anymore.

To you, who fought for good governance
To my listeners who are dismayed by the turnout of elections, I'm sending you virtual hugs through this podcast. You all fought well and you don't deserve to be invalidated for your feelings of dismay. The past few months have been stressful for us. We've lost friends and families, even our own voices to chant our heart's desires for the government and none of it has been easy. I hope that this podcast may ease you in some ways and remind you to continue to be hopeful despite the hopelessness of the world.
All love, Jean Mari
