About Highly Suspicious Podcast with Louis and Preston

A podcast for renaissance men (and women) whose interests aren't one dimensional! We talk about whatever we feel like. It has the same feeling as late night talks with your friends, except we're your friends :) On our weekly radio show, no two episodes are the same. We range from stupid debates about Chinese guns to philosophizing on super heady topics like the origins of the universe. From crazy conspiracy theories that you've never heard of, to musical deep dives on artists you haven't heard of, either. Whether it's hot takes on current events & pop culture, or coverage on super specific stuff that doesn't get enough attention. We make sure that if you're like us and you have a wide array of weird obsessions, you will feel right at home with us. We GUARENTEE that every episode you will laugh and you will learn something.

Physical Media is ALIVE and Mitch McConnell ISN'T (ft. Luc)

Hello! I've been in solitary confinement for the last 365 days, as you can tell by my stale dated takes. I definitely do NOT have a good pulse on anything right now. But! I can promise you we're as suspicious as ever jumping into this new world together. Season 11!!! Like Futurama, we refuse to hang it up. Here's to 11 more! Cheers!! Today we talked about the fall of physical media (and whether anyone cares (1:00), how the digital age has affected our consumption (9:00), got jiggy with some instrumental music from Jean Luc Ponty (17:30). I'm contrarian as f*** on an AI discussion (31:10), the Alchemist is on WATCH!!! (32:00) And, of course, you know we had to weigh in on the Mitch McConnell conspiracy here, right??(43:00)

   JK Rowling Didn't Do It

Okay, that's an insane episode title I know. In the first part of the show Louis unveils his new conspiracy theory about how JK Rowling didn't actually write Harry Potter. After that we talk about the 9th planet discovered in our solar system. We take a brief intermission talking about Tidal Wave by Tom Misch and Yussef Dayes. Then we end the show with Preston's full review of the My Morning Jacket shows in Louisville. Follow us on Instagram! @highly_suspicious_podcast @the_sleepless_man @4eva_outdablinds
