God’s call is for his people to become faithful servants who trust him, pursue righteousness, and seek him together. His heart is for “many peoples" to come to seek the Lord Almighty, God’s purpose is larger than private spirituality or personal comfort. (Ps 4:3-5, Zech 8:16-22). He sets apart a people whose lives, worship, truthfulness, and peace become a public witness that invites others to know him. Faithfulness is therefore not mere outward religion, but inward reverence, honest self-examination, obedience, and active trust in the Lord.
Paul, in Ephesians 4:17, says “I insist in the Lord” suggesting that repentance, prayer, reconciliation, and devotion should not be postponed. “Live according to your new self; Be made new, put on your new self.”
Discipleship is communal; God uses transformed communities to awaken spiritual hunger beyond themselves. Three possible responses were spoken of on Sunday: Be confident enough to make a public declaration of who you belong to. Lower the bar, show more grace while we love, pray for and point people to Jesus. Polish the silver, it’s time to shine brighter in our daily life together.

Worthy of Our Calling - Rick Velvin
“Live a life worthy of the calling you have received.” — Ephesians 4:1
Ephesians reminds us of all God has already done for us. He has forgiven us, made us alive in Christ, brought us from darkness into light, and welcomed us into relationship with Him. Therefore, how will we respond?
Living a life worthy of Jesus isn’t about being perfect or earning God’s love. It’s about allowing His grace to shape the way we live each day—how we speak, treat others, forgive, serve and love.
Sometimes the most powerful witness is simply the way we live when nobody is watching.
This week, why not pause and ask God, “Is there something in my life that reflects You well? Is there something You want to change?”
And when you notice someone living faithfully, encourage them. A simple “I see Jesus in the way you’re doing that” might be exactly what they need to keep going.

The Church is a Body - Heather Hill
“From Him the whole body… grows and builds itself up in love.” — Ephesians 4:16
Have you ever thought about how much a ligament does? It’s not the part anyone notices, but without it, the body can’t function. That’s the picture Paul gives us of the Church.
Each of us has a unique place in the body of Christ. We’re not meant to do life or ministry alone—we’re designed to support one another, giving and receiving encouragement as we grow together. Our differences don’t divide us; they’re part of God’s beautiful design.
Most importantly, Jesus is the head of the body. He is the one who gives us life, purpose, healing, and direction. As we stay connected to Him, we become steady and mature, rooted in His love rather than tossed around by life’s challenges.
This week, take a moment to thank God for the people who support you—and ask Him how you can be a “supporting ligament” for someone else.
