Hudson Kai Cooper: Donington Park Race Report | 2026 Moto4 British Cup Finale Episode #050
Hudson Kai Cooper reflects on the final round of the 2026 Moto4 British Cup at Donington Park, rounding off his rookie season in the British Superbike Championship (BSB) paddock with NW Racing.
After missing the earlier Donington round due to concussion, Hudson returned for his first Moto4 races at the circuit. Technical issues disrupted practice, but qualifying brought a personal best of 1:40.2 and P11 on the grid, before a crash at the final corner ended a promising last lap.
Hear how Hudson battled through quickshifter problems to secure P7 in Race 1, his best Moto4 result of the season, followed by P11 in Race 2 and P13 in Race 3. Close battles with George and Aeziah featured throughout the weekend, with Hudson also setting a new personal best lap of 1:39.8 in Race 2.
From technical setbacks and qualifying frustration to racecraft, improved pace and lessons from his first Moto4 British Cup season, this episode shares Hudson’s perspective on a busy finale at Donington Park.
