Londen (QQS, LHR, LGW, LCY, STN, LTN en zelfs SEN)
In deze aflevering van Hoe kom je air? blijven we lekker dichtbij: Londen. Het is maar een uurtje vliegen, maar er is genoeg over te zeiken. Je kunt er ook met de trein heen, maar dan moet je wel zin hebben om minimaal 4,5 uur opgesloten te zitten met een Smullerslucht en een man die zijn hele Spotify-lijst via speakers afspeelt.
We focussen op de zes luchthavens die allemaal "Londen" heten, maar waarvan er eigenlijk maar drie een beetje serieus zijn. Vanuit Nederland vliegen vijf airlines heen, en het maakt qua reistijd allemaal geen zak uit. Zelfs die gare luchthavens op een weiland in Essex zijn nog sneller dan de Eurostar.
Waarom je naar Londen zou willen? Nou: thee drinken, een gratis museum in, 200 euro dokken voor een hotelkamer van 8 m² of juist een dagtripje en terug naar huis voordat je avondeten koud wordt.
De snelste optie? Het vliegtuig. Zelfs als je eindbestemming een treinstation is.
