<p>Theatre director, filmmaker and author Christiane Jatahy is the associate artist of Holland Festival 2024. This podcast is a conversation between journalist Doortje Smithuijsen and Christiane. They discuss Jatahy's role during the festival and the artists and projects she wil bring to this years' festival. <br/><br/>The part of the festival programme curated in consultation with Jatahy embraces the eclectic nature of her work. The (mainly Brazilian) makers - from theatre-makers and choreographers to musicians and DJs - who have been invited, provide an intriguing glimpse of what is going on in Brazil and the rest of the world right now.</p>

<p> </p><p><b>De oorlog in één straat is een portret van de Gerrit van der Veenstraat tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog in Amsterdam aan de hand van vijf persoonlijke verhalen.</b></p><p>Het is een podcast van het Holland Festival i.s.m. het Amsterdams 4 en 5 mei comite. Aanleiding is de opvoering The Disintegration Loops van William Basinski in de Gerrit van der Veenstraat op zondag 18 juni 2023 om 16.00. Het is een onderdeel van het door ANOHNI gecureerde programma. <br/><br/>Interviews en montage: Pieter-Bas van Wiechen. De muziek The Disintegration Loops van William Basinski in de originele versie voor tape.
