Extra Episode: ALL BET AWARDS 2026 WINNERS | How Did Kendrick Lamar Win?
Here's the episode description: The 2026 BET Awards are in the books and Smooth has questions. Starting from the top and working all the way through every category, this episode is a full breakdown of who won, who got robbed, and who shouldn't have been nominated in the first place. Kehlani's “Folded” was the obvious pick for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist. Leon Thomas had no business losing Best Male R&B/Pop Artist. And Clips? They were the easy answer for Best Group no debate needed. But the real conversation? Best Male Hip-Hop Artist. Smooth cannot figure out how Kendrick Lamar walked away with that award on the strength of three songs two features on the Playboi Carti album and a Baby Keem collab while artists like Don Tolliver and J. Cole were right there, putting in consistent, undeniable work during the same eligibility window. And when you run the numbers three songs, three for six from the field it just doesn't add up. Unless you start thinking about who's producing the show. The BET of Her Award, the Viewer's Choice, Album of the Year, Best Movie (Sinners, no debate), the Sports awards Smooth runs through all of it. Some calls he agrees with, some he's okay with, and a few he's still confused by. One thing's certain: Don Tolliver deserved his flowers, and this was not the year to overlook him.

Love Languages 101: The Part Nobody Ever Talks About
Everyone knows their love language. But do you actually practice it — or are you just waiting to receive? Smooth breaks down all five love languages and exposes the part nobody wants to say out loud: most people use them as a checklist for what they want, not a framework for what they give. From words of affirmation to receiving gifts, each one gets put under the microscope — and the verdict isn't pretty. Words of affirmation? Ask yourself when's the last time you said it first. Quality time? Put the phone down, for real. Physical touch? If they don't want you near them, that's not a love language problem. Acts of service? If you can't think of something you did for your partner in the last week, you're failing. And receiving gifts — the name says it all. It's in the title. Receiving. The conversation about love languages has always been about what you want. Smooth flips the script and asks the harder question: what are you actually doing for them? Drop your thoughts in the comments — if the response is there, we're going deeper on each one 0:00 – Intro: Why Smooth has a problem with love languages 0:57 – The real issue: it's always about what you want to receive 1:09 – Breaking down each love language 1:12 – Words of Affirmation: Say it first 2:50 – Quality Time: The phone is killing it 4:29 – Physical Touch: If they don't want you near them… 6:05 – Acts of Service: What have YOU done this week? 8:11 – Receiving Gifts: The most selfish one on the list 11:15 – Final thoughts & call for comments
