Chris grew up Japan, as well as Maryland, where he attended Stephen Decatur High School and played basketball and ran track. He participated in basketball leagues at the Ocean City Recreation & Parks Department. In college he attended University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Salisbury University and finished at Virginia Wesley and received his Degree in Recreation & Leisure Studies. He has served as the Director of Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club in Baltimore and later served as Executive Director, moved to Loudoun County Parks & Recreation in Northern Virginia and now at Takoma Park Recreation, City of Takoma Park, Maryland.
