<p>It's been nearly 5 years since Big Gerb has passed and in honor of our friend we are releasing this very special episode of our podcast, thanks to all of our new listeners and everyone who has stuck by us. Enjoy!&nbsp;</p> <p>This episode was recorded on January 13th 2014 at 2:19 AM, it is an unreleased audio interview that was supposed to be the part of Hongree Radio Podcast we were planning to launch before Big Gerb passed on January 12th of 2016. &nbsp;The episode begins with an intro from Mobcast hosts Surreal and Spik and continues to some outtakes of Gerb and Spik talking about show ideas. &nbsp;Big Gerb talks about latin rappers and rappers he looked up to such as Big Pun and how he reached out to Pun's wife Liza Rios for advice. &nbsp;They discussed the huge turnout for Gerb's 30th birthday party, paying homage and the importance of showing love to your people and staying true to your roots, and the 100 Big Poppa Burgers he gave to ticket holders during the Hunger Pains album release party. &nbsp;Gerb also talks about interactions with Houston rap legend K-Rino, building his home recording studio, learning to make beats and why song Spanish Bullets was released uncompleted. &nbsp;He also talks about his two very different Houston House of Blues performances, why he read the book to the movie Scarface, what he would do with a million dollars, some hilarious public restroom stories during an award show, what he feared most and what his family thought about his music. &nbsp;He closes out with an extremely funny &nbsp;story about trying out for high school sports, his legacy and how he wanted to be remembered. &nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p>
