Gospel of John: One Door, One Flock, One Shepherd with Keith
Jesus tells two hard truths and one amazing one. The hard truths first: you are a sheep, hardwired to be led and hopeless on your own, and the world is full of bad shepherds, from politicians and influencers to the “soft shepherding” of algorithms, advertising, and media quietly shaping what you want. Even following your own “authentic self” means following a shepherd that’s been shaped by wounds, fears, and habits. The question isn’t whether you’ll be led, but by whom. And into that comes the amazing truth, the promise of Ezekiel 34 fulfilled: “I am the Good Shepherd.” He knows you intimately, he comes to give life, and unlike the hired hand, he doesn’t run from your ultimate enemy. He lays down his life for the sheep. So who is your shepherd?

The Blind Man
Gospel of John 9:1-41 - Healing Beyond the Healing with Keith. A man born blind is healed by Jesus, but the deeper wound was never his eyes. It was the shame and trauma of a lifetime spent ostracized, the story that arises from living wounded. And when healing comes, it doesn’t fix his life, it disrupts it, stirring up new trouble with community, authority, and even his own family. Yet Jesus doesn’t skip town after the miracle. He comes and finds the man in the mess, because the deepest healing is slow, like the durable beauty God patiently carves over time. He heals not with quick prescriptions but with questions. The invitation is the same one from the pool: do you want to get well? Will you let him?

Gospel of John: Throwing Stones with Keith
When the scribes and Pharisees drag a woman caught in adultery before Jesus, they aren't after justice, they're after a trap, and she's just a prop for their agenda. But Jesus stoops, writes on the ground, and says, "Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone." One by one they leave. The only one with the right to condemn her won't. "Neither do I condemn you; go, and sin no more." Jesus rebuilds holiness on a new foundation: grace. And if he showed that grace to her, how much more to his own children? Stop condemning yourself, and keep reaching for grace.
