Episode 51: Little Shop of Horrors
Phil’s wife drew up an elaborate plan to manipulate the programming of this podcast, and expose the children to musical theater. It worked beautifully. In the season 4 premiere, Dylan and Phil talk about the classic rock/horror musical Little Shop of Horrors, both the live staged show they attended together with the kids and the 1986 movie starring Rick Moranis. Dylan revels in his kid’s burgeoning love of theater and stagecraft, and Phil stares as his child delights in the foul-mouthed maneating plant from outer space.
