Pearl & Treasure - What Your Heart Really Wants
The parables of the Hidden Treasure and the Pearl of Great Price teach that the Kingdom of God is of surpassing value—so valuable that once truly seen, it becomes worth any sacrifice. One man stumbles upon treasure; another searches for a pearl. Both respond with joy, urgency, and total commitment. Jesus invites hearers to evaluate what they treasure most and to embrace the Kingdom with the same wholehearted devotion.

One a Mission: Living for God's Glory
God gives his people four identity defining titles—a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and his own possession—rooted in his eternal foreknowledge and saving purpose. These titles reveal both the believer's privileged position in Christ and the mission God assigns: "that you may declare the praises of him." God forms his people through the Holy Spirit so they increasingly reflect his glory, having been called "out of darkness into his wonderful light." God looks upon this redeemed community—once not a people, now his people—and declares it good.

Preparing for the Mission
The church must stay on the mission of God. God defines the mission; the church simply participates in it. Even though believers live independently, they remain interdependent, carrying out one mission under one commander. To stay on mission, Christians need ongoing spiritual formation. This includes warning and teaching, helping believers grow into Christlikeness (Col. 1:28–29). The mission is "Him we proclaim". The mission is to make God known.
