Sermon - Empowered Boldness

This week at HFC, Tyler Holloway continues our study through the book of Acts with a message titled "Empowered Boldness" from Acts 4:23–34. After Peter and John are released following persecution for proclaiming Christ, they return to the believers, who respond not with fear, but with united prayer. Rather than asking God to remove hardship, they ask for boldness to continue speaking His Word. God answers by filling them with the Holy Spirit, strengthening their faith, and empowering them to boldly proclaim the gospel. As the early church lived in unity, they generously cared for one another, demonstrating the transforming power of a Spirit-filled community. Join us as we discover how God still empowers His people today to live courageously, pray confidently, and faithfully share the hope of Jesus in every circumstance.

Sermon - A Problem; A Calling; A Solution

This week at Hope Fellowship Church, Brad Seifert continues our A Church Begins series with a message from Acts 6:1–7 titled, "A Problem; A Calling; A Solution." As the early church experienced rapid growth, it also faced its first internal conflict. Brad explores how the apostles addressed the problem with wisdom, protected the church's mission, and called faithful servants to meet practical needs. This passage reminds us that healthy churches require both Spirit-filled leadership and willing servants, and that God often uses challenges to strengthen His people and advance the gospel.
