“Road Warriors” Seattle Kraken (5-2-0) vs. Tampa Bay Lightning (4-2-0) NHL 🏒🎙️🎨 10-15-26

This ended up being a very good game between two squads that are looking to improve on strong starts early in the NHL season.

“Dysfunctional Opener at LCA?” New York Rangers (1-1-0) vs. Detroit Red Wings 10-2-26

This was to be expected, but at the same time this dysfunctional opener also spread to the broadcast streams across all TNT, TruTV, HBO and beyond. What a mess. But I did triple-check that this was not on my end.

"Opening Night Statement" Seattle Kraken vs. Calgary Flames NHL P-B-P/Color w/ John Ott & Cooper Hopkins 10-1-26

It's a tradition and one last home opener at the Saddledome for Cooper Hopkins and I. Admittedly Cooper nailed this scoreline. Even in night one for both of these squads a statement was made. And analysis from us dictates (along with a loaded intermission) what we'd like to see change from both of these squads. Truth serum too.
