Voyager 1 launched in 1977, visited Jupiter and Saturn, crossed into interstellar space, and nearly five decades later, it’s still phoning home.
WizCate takes Ronit through the incredible journey of the farthest human-made object from Earth: how gravity assists sent it across the solar system, how NASA still communicates with it, why its power is slowly disappearing, and what will happen when Voyager finally goes silent.
Then we get to the Golden Record and the possibility that someday, somewhere, something might find it.
Which inevitably leads Ronit to aliens.
WizCate brings the science. Ronit brings wormholes, UFOs, hostile visitors, and the lingering concern that aliens might want to eat us.

Aliens have arrived, and Ronit and WizCate have been selected to give them an orientation on humanity. What could possibly go wrong?
Ronit's first priority is figuring out whether they're friendly, followed closely by introducing them to spicy food. WizCate thinks perhaps language, music, art, science, friendship, and family would make a better first impression.
From there, things get complicated. How do you explain money, borders, war, humor, grief, pets, social media, food taboos, reality TV, gender reveals, and all the other strange things humans accept as perfectly normal?
What starts as an imaginary first-contact scenario becomes a surprisingly revealing question: If you had to explain humanity to an alien, what would you be proud to show them, and what would be really hard to explain?
