Debt, Freedom, and Following Jesus: Finding Financial Health God’s Way
Debt can carry shame, pressure, and fear, but hiding it only gives it more
power. This week in our Balanced series, Pastor Daniel Eliason reminded us
that Jesus cares about every part of our lives, including our finances.
Debt is not just a number on a statement — it can affect our faith,
marriages, obedience, generosity, and peace. But there is hope. What lives
in the dark dies in the light, and Jesus invites us to bring even this area
under His leadership.

Whose Money Is It? Learning to Steward What Belongs to God
A balanced financial life needs more than tracking where our money goes —
it needs a clear objective. This week, we continued our Balanced series by
asking a foundational question: whose money is it? Scripture reminds us
that everything belongs to God, everything comes from God, and everything
we have is meant to be managed under His leadership.

Balanced: Bringing Our Finances Under the Leadership of Jesus
Financial pressure is real, and many of us feel it in groceries, housing,
bills, and everyday life. But Jesus does not speak about money to shame us
— He speaks about money because He wants freedom for us. This week’s
message begins our Balanced series by inviting us to bring our finances
under the loving leadership of Jesus through a clear reference point, a
clear objective, and constant correction.
