#28 Oliver Heilmer (BMW Head of Design) - Wird die Neue Klasse Designsprache auf alle kommenden Modelle angewendet?
<p>Oliver Heilmer ist ehemaliger Chefdesigner von MINI. Er begann seine Karriere bei BMW, prägte später die Designsprache von MINI maßgeblich und ist heute verantwortlich für BMW Compact Class, Neue Klasse und BMWM.</p><p>Im Gespräch geht es um seinen persönlichen Weg ins Design, seine Haltung zwischen Progression und Heritage sowie Einflüsse außerhalb der Automobilwelt. Wir sprechen über die neue BMW Designsprache rund um die „Neue Klasse“ und den iX3, die interessante Anfangsphase des Projektes und über Leadership im Design.</p><p>Außerdem gibt Oliver Heilmer Einblicke in seine Rolle innerhalb der BMW Organisation: von Zusammenarbeit und Hierarchien über die Aufteilung der Designbereiche bis hin zur Frage, ob er durch KI schon eine Disruption im Design beobachten konnte.</p><p>Viel Freude beim Zuhören!</p>

<p>Heute gibt es eine besondere Folge: bei HORIZONTLINIE sind dieses mal gleich drei Designer zu Gast. Wir haben uns auf der Werkschau der Hochschule Pforzheim umgeschaut und haben Fabian Schmölz (Head of Exterieur Design Xiaomi), Florian Stieve (BMW Interieur Design Manager) und Maximilian Kraus (Design Manager Fiat/Abarth) getroffen. Sie haben alle an der Hochschule Pforzheim studiert und erzählen uns etwas über ihr damaliges Studium und ihre jetzige Arbeit.</p>
