Welcome to House of Word and Spirit! It's so good to have you here. You'll find here a small group of friends who make videos and podcasts in a living room, based in Scotland. We love to seek out the truth, and we love to hear what God is saying. If you're into that kind of thing, stick around. Let's get you confident in the fact that you can hear the voice of God for yourself, and there really is truth to be found in the Bible.

We Got Here Because They Prayed | Part 2 | HWS Podcast | S2 ep9
What if some of the prayers prayed faithfully for years are beginning to be answered?
In this episode, Ruth sits down with Chloe, Anne Kerr and Alistair Barton to talk about what they are seeing across Scotland, from a growing hunger for God among young people to doors opening in schools that have been closed for many years.
They explore the power of persistent prayer, the work of Pray for Scotland, and what it looks like for different generations in the Church to walk alongside one another with less fear and more love.
How do we encourage a younger generation without trying to control them? How do we keep the door open when someone’s journey with God looks different from our own? And could listening, genuine interest and unconditional love be part of the answer?
This conversation is a reminder that prayers are not wasted, generations need one another, and love can build bridges where fear once created distance.
Join us for Part 1 as we talk about prayer, young people, the Church in Scotland and what God may be doing in this generation.
House of Word and Spirit exists to help people find a love for the Word of God and live lives led by the Spirit. May this podcast encourage you to grow in your confidence that God still speaks today.
