What Southeast Asia can teach the world about climate action
Climate experts have spent decades getting the evidence right, but many still can't explain their work at their own dinner table. Better information was supposed to move the world. Instead, it’s built an echo chamber.
In this episode, Christa Beck and Seth Armstrong-Twigg are joined by Leo Horn-Phathanothai, founder of Bangkok Climate Action Week. After more than 20 years working in climate policy and research, Leo began questioning whether better information alone was enough to drive change. His answer is radical inclusion – or, creating space for artists, youth, indigenous leaders and others outside the traditional climate bubble to reclaim their agency and an active role in the movement.
