The Mississippi at Guttenberg is rising from heavy rains. Roller Dam is open to allow trash and trees to float on by. Jamie's Landing 615 Barge is out but water is swift.
Some fish being caught in backwaters. Catfish bite is starting. Trout fishing in streams is good to excellent.

Transitioning to Spring Fishing
The Mississippi River at Guttenberg is great for mid April with water in the mid 50 degree range. Fishing may take some work but we've got the information on what is biting and what may come as we get warmer spring weather.
The river is predicted to rise slightly with recent rains.
Bob is recovering from Big Tent Sale last weekend.
