Or did you think that you had to “look a certain way” to be seen as professional or acceptable? If so, please join the U of M Counseling Center Interns for our live podcast on Black Women’s hair and professionalism. We will be discussing:</p> <p>• Experiences of macro- and microaggressions in professional spaces regarding Black hair.</p> <p>• The pressure to conform to conventional beauty standards.</p> <p>• Ideals and expectations of our hair.</p> <p>• How we have established ourselves as professional Black women.</p> <p>In addition, we will also be taking questions from the audience as a part of the discussion!</p> <p>Do’s and Don’ts/ oops vs. ouch/ education/ conduct</p> <p> </p>
