How to stay married rule #3 Part II

How to stay married rule #3 Part II podcast A great woman named Chanie Handler said to me when I was dating my wife that you need 3 things in a marriage to have a chance at survival. 1. Trust 2. Communication 3. Physical attraction 4. Emotional attraction. I told her that was 4 and I think she hit me for it, but I don't remember it very well. Maybe it was the concussion. If you have these 3 (4) things, your marriage has a solid foundation and may survive. I say may because marriage is a daily battle which you will lose sometimes. Couples fight and life happens. People react to stress in different ways. Work together to grow and you will be thankful for it. This rules is more for those making sure they are with the one they are meant to be with. If you are missing one of these, think about it and talk about it with your significant other. #familylaw #financialhonesty #dontcheat #newyorkdivorcelawyer #stayingmarriedishardbutworthit

How to Stay Married: By a Divorce Lawyer Rule #2

People don't realize it but the number one cause of divorce I have observed is not cheating or domestic violence. It's the fact that a person can say they have no idea what their spouses' income is or that the spouse controls the finances and that spouse doesn't know what the bank they use is named. A couple should have joint accounts and should share everything they do with money. Not because they need permission from their spouse but to have good communication with them.
