Leben mit dem Tod: Der Friedhofsverwalter von Frankfurt
Wie ist es eigentlich, auf einem Friedhof zu leben? Majer Szanckower wohnt seit einem Vierteljahrhundert auf dem alten jüdischen Friedhof in Frankfurt. Bis vor kurzem war es auch sein Arbeitsplatz, denn er hat die zwölf jüdischen Friedhöfe der Stadt verwaltet. Jetzt ist er mit fast 80 Jahren in Rente gegangen. Es gibt viel zu erzählen über jüdische Bestattungsriten, über Gräber, die Stadtgeschichte spiegeln und über die Kindheit im Displaced Persons Camp.

Ist das Kunst oder ist das gleich weg? Flüchtige und vergängliche Skulpturen
Für Sammler ist Kunst etwas, das man nach Hause tragen und besitzen kann. Aber was ist das für eine Kunst, die unwiederbringlich schmilzt? Oder die nur dann wahrnehmbar wird, wenn die Sonne scheint, wenn es regnet oder in einer Pflanze sich eine Nervenzelle regt? Das gibt es alles: Eisschnitzer formen aus gefrorenen Blöcken zauberhafte Gebilde - die für kurze Zeit zu bestaunen und dann weg sind. Einer von Ihnen erzählt, wie das geht. Und rund um die Frankfurter Schirn sind unter dem Titel In A Silent Way drei Skulpturen aufgebaut, die flüchtige Naturphänomene in Klang und Bild übersetzen: Sonnenuhren, Regentrommeln und eine Maschine, die aus elektrischen Impulsen in Pflanzen scheinbar zufällige Töne erzeugt. „Ephemere Kunst“ ist ein Name dafür - Kunst, die nur vorübergehend existiert, in wenigen Augenblicken, in denen sich Kunstwerk und Betrachter treffen. Die Liedermacherin Alin Coen: Poesie, Stärke und Verletzlichkeit
Alin Coen muss nicht laut werden, um Eindruck zu hinterlassen: Seit 2010 kennt man sie und ihre Band mit samtigem Deutschpop zwischen SingerSongwriter und Folk. Mit Musik voller Poesie, Wärme und Achtsamkeit. Vor kurzem ist Alins viertes Studioalbum erschienen, „Du bedeutest mir die Welt“. Und ihr Plan, diesmal - endlich! - ein tanzbares Album zu schreiben, ist nur so halb aufgegangen: Statt durchgehender Beats gibt es wieder viele liebevolle Herzöffner. Im Gespräch bei hr iNFO Kultur erzählt die deutsch-mexikanische Songwriterin, warum sie nicht zur Vollzeit-Umweltaktivistin wurde, welchen Einfluss Mutter-Sein auf ihre Songs hat und wie das Weltall auf die neue Platte gekommen ist.
