Wien, Berlin, Paris – Operettenzauber mit Diana Damrau
Im Gespräch erzählt die Sopranistin von ihrer Faszination für die Operette, die sie seit ihrer Jugend begleitet hat. Eine gesamteuropäische Angelegenheit, dieses vermeintlich leichte Genre, das von Paris kam und dann auch in Österreich und Deutschland zuhause war. Nicht die großen Operettenhits sind hier zu hören, sondern vor allem auch viel Unbekanntes. Und da eine Operette ohne Tenor eigentlich keine ist, gibt’s auch ein paar Duette mit Jonas Kaufmann. Vom Rheingau nach Böhmen: Andreas Scholl auf den Spuren von Frantisek Tuma
Ganz still und leise hat Andreas Scholl, "unser" hessischer Countertenor von Weltrang, beim kleinen französischen Label Aparte ein neues Album veröffentlicht. Diesmal zieht es den Kiedricher zu den spätbarocken Motetten und Kantaten eines heute nur noch wenig bekannten böhmischen Komponisten: Frantisek Tuma. Zusammen mit Roman Váleks Tschechischem Barock Ensemble beweist Scholl, warum Haydn und Mozart Recht hatten, als sie sich in puncto Kirchenmusik eine Scheibe von der Kunst dieses böhmischen Musikanten abschnitten.
