כשאלול סכולובסקי, בוגרת המחלקה לעיצוב תעשייתי בשנקר, החלה לעבוד על פרויקט הגמר שלה היא עוד לא ידעה במה הוא יעסוק, היא רק ידעה שהיא מעוניינת לפתח מוצר שיענה על צורך אנושי משמעותי, כזה שיציג אנשים עם מגבלות כאנשים מיניים שמעוניינים ונהנים מסקס. כך נוצר -"ענג". לצד היותה יזמית צעירה שמנסה לטפס בסולמות התעשייה, אלול התמודדה עם תהלכים אישיים, כאלו שעזרו לה לבסוף להתגבר על הקושי ביצירת אינטימיות, ואפשרו לה ליצור חיבור אמיתי. כל אלו הביאו אותה לחקור את המקורות של העונג האנושי ולבסוף מצאה דרך לעזור, לא רק לעצמה אלא גם לאנשים עם מוגבלויות-להגיע לעונג מיני.
